Friday, December 31, 2004 Today is Loki Day! It was on this day, one year ago, that Nora called me up and said a kitten had been brought to her office and then we decided to adopt him. He's apparently reached his full size, mostly, and he's going to be the smallest of our cats so far. He's a rather good-looking little fellow, though, with his spotted coat. |

Personality-wise, he's fairly
friendly, but not nearly as sweet-tempered as some of our other cats. He doesn't like to be cuddled
or picked up much (we're going to have to break him of that idea - all cats
get picked up int his household!). I'm still hoping that he'll
become more affectionate towards Nora and people in general as he gets
older. He still likes to "schnuzzle" with me only - that's when he wants to be held close so he can rub the top his head on my bearded chin (that last about 5 minutes or so). He also like plastic shopping bags. The bigger, the better. He loves to get into them and lay down. He's also been know to climb into trash cans and lay down. He's just a freak. He's certainly entertaining, though. And the latest thing is we're teaching him to sit up like a little bear for treats. It's pretty cute. I'll have to put a picture on line when I get a chance. |
