We started some of the new health regimen last night.  We bought some new canned food and a Calendula ointment for the hole in his side, some natural diet-type dry food, flax seed oil, raw chicken livers, and a water purifier to filter out carcinogenic minerals, etc.

So, we started giving him all this stuff, but I have to stop giving him his Friskies Fine Cuts pouches.  That's a real shame, because he really liked to eat that.  I mixed some Hoxsey with the last of it, and of course, he wouldn't touch it.  That really made me feel bad about doing that.  He also wouldn't eat the raw chicken liver, which I'd hope he'd like.  He wouldn't eat it fried, either.  So now, we have to find an alternative to give him a good source of protein and other important nutrients.

I'm feeling rather anxious.  Probably out of proportion to the relative situation, but with Max's condition, I can't help feeling worried.  So, it's back to the pet store for more alternative canned food.

Meanwhile, I took him to the vet today for his third round of chemo -- this time, with a different mixture of drugs.  I'm pinning my hopes on the CAS Options working as advertised, to enhance the chemo's properties.
