Just recently, including today, I've had some rather touching communications via email, thanks to the Pet Prayer Line. It's all a confirmation of some of the good things that can come from the Internet. Part of signing onto the list is an agreement to allow people to send prayers and well wishes to your pet. Today, I got a very nice note from someone who sent a virtual card with a picture of Max that they had gotten off this website.

I initially contacted Barb Ponter, while I was inquiring about rates. She's an animal communicator, who mostly specializes in horses. She very generously offered to try to contact Max telepathically, as well as advised me on some flower essences to put in his food and/or water, which supposedly promotes healing. Then, today, she contacted a couple of Reiki healers to help Max. I have no real knowledge of what they do or what it is, so I guess I need to do some research, I figure, well, "why not?". It can't hurt.

Lately, I've fallen into this repression of emotion with this ongoing stressful situation. Every time I start dwelling on Max and our financial situation, I pray for a miracle for Max. That seems to abate the anxiety for a while, until I can be distracted by something else.
