Go ahead and make yourself comfortable while we tell you about ourselves,
our Friends, our musical tastes and what we like to watch on the 'tube'.

Putting out the Mom vibe

Mmmm! Lunch!
"You don't pull no stinkin' rabbit out of a hat like this!" "And for my next trick, I'll eat an entire tiger."

First off, there's us; here's a brief introduction.
We met in 1986 at a meeting of the St. Louis Celestial Intervention Agency,
a Doctor Who fan club, at the time one of the largest in the United States.
Many of our longest lasting friendships come from that club.
We discovered that we shared an affinity for cats, costuming, and bagpipes
(go figure!) beyond our mutual interest in Science Fiction and Fantasy.
We became engaged 4 months later and have been married since 1988.

Like most married couples, we have a number of interests in common
-- you can see that by wandering about the Casa.
One of us may have more interest in something, but the other generally
tolerates it, or even learns to appreciate it.

And, like most married couples we have our own special interests and pursuits

Every year we have a themed party inviting friends, family, co-workers;
it's very popular. It's also a lot of work but fun. Everything revolves
around the theme: food, music, decorations, and clothes (a Costumer
never passes up a chance to dress up!).
For details and pictures of the parties check out the Backyard.

Most of our friends belong to an organization for people interested in costuming --
The St. Louis Costumers Guild (go to the
Study to learn more about it).
We've known some of them since our days in the St. Louis CIA.
Others, we've met since we helped found our Guild chapter, back in 1991
.

But wherever (and whenever) we met them; they all
add their own special spice to the mix.
Meet our friends
and put faces to the names you'll see often on these pages.
